My Story

I’m Logan Scott. Growing up in Thunder Bay with a single mother wasn’t easy, especially when she had mental health issues. Despite difficult circumstances, I was forced to leave home at the age of 16 determined to forge my own path. Unfortunately, this led me down a dark road, in and out of jail as my own battles with addiction started in 2010. In 2016, I began my journey to recovery serving a 16-month sentence in prison- leading me later to Adult & Teen Challenge where I completed a long-term program and graduated feeling empowered. The year that followed was filled with ups and downs as I stumbled along the path; yet despite the setbacks, I committed to reclaiming my life and am now 7 years strong in my recovery journey. My trials have ignited within me a passion for helping others find freedom from their addictions; something that at one point never seemed possible. Today, I’m grateful to live each day alongside two amazing daughters and an incredible wife while doing things - like buying vehicles or a house - that were far beyond any expectations or dreams. When not working as an Addiction Specialist at various agencies or playing Basketball or video games with friends or family; you’ll typically find me giving back by speaking on the streets or anywhere really about hope found through recovery!
