About us

The Pathway Project is a collaborative team of Addiction Specialists, with lived and real experiences, Addictions Treatment Partners, and Police and focuses on ending the negative cycle of enforcement and addiction through individualized care, investment, and advocacy towards treatment and rehabilitation. Led by The Ontario Provincial Police and Adult & Teen Challenge, the Pathway Project currently focuses on persons suffering from addiction in the City of Dryden and surrounding area.

This transformative and innovative approach provides the intervention and support needed at a crucial time in the life of someone suffering from addiction and trapped in the justice system. While working tirelessly to create an individual treatment plan, The Pathway Project team supports individuals by looking after all basic needs. From transitional housing and food, clothing to pet care, The Pathway Project creates the safety net needed and removes the barriers one by one, resulting in the feeling of investment and inspiring courage in someone suffering from addiction towards treatment and wellness.

Working with treatment partners from across Canada, the Pathway Project team uses a lived and transparent approach to find an appropriate program for each person by taking cultural considerations and each unique need into account. No one addiction is ever the same and the path to wellness differs for all. 

At each stage of transition and treatment, The Pathway Project collaborates with Justice partners, communicating a person’s progress throughout the program and advocating for diversionary resolutions.

Once a person is on a pathway to rehabilitation, the Pathway Project continues to advocate and aids a person’s rehabilitative path into employment, wellness, and community rehabilitation.

The Pathway Project team is passionately driven towards the need for meaningful change and relies upon its community partners to remove the unnecessary barriers that can lead to positively changing lives forever.
